It’s been more than 16 years since the Fiat 500 returned to the roads, while the version we know today was launched in 2007. And this is confirmed by sales figures, because at least three million copies were sold worldwide, which allows it to significantly surpass the legendary Renault Twingo. A good story about this little pot of yogurt, very popular all over the world, which has not been affected by time, in particular because of its style.

End of career

But everything eventually comes to an end, and the manufacturer now wants to turn to electricity. Thus, the company started work in 2020 the new generation of its 500, which is no longer available in thermals at all. True, the old one was still sold in parallel, only with a hybrid engine. But over time, the 500th managed to establish itself and dethrone its predecessor, which gradually begins to lose market share. So the manufacturer decided to end his career in order to give preference electric version which has enjoyed increasing success since its launch.

Only in France

So the 500 thermostat is no longer adjustable, but still can be ordered in stock, if you wish, until the beginning of next year. Also note that at the moment his career stops only in France, but he will be sold in other European countries. Eventually, you’ll have to go for the electric Fiat 500 if you want to treat yourself to a replica of the charming Italian city car, which is also available in a sportier Abarth version.
