While the first customer deliveries are due next year, the Tesla Cybertruck could be eligible soon special version focused on “sportiness”with more power and torque.
The information came directly from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who told X “that he had seen this version of Performance up close.” The capricious director of the California firm even added that he tried it for the first time and promises that it will be “bomb”.
Not Tesla Model 3 Plaid, but “super Cybertruck”
The Tesla Cybertruck comment is linked to a Tesla Owners in Silicon Valley post on X (formerly Twitter) in which some members are discussing a possible Tesla Model 3 Plaid.
Elon Musk completely denied the appearance of such an option, but then added a comment mentioning a performance version of the Cybertruckwhich indirectly confirms its existence.
I just drove the mighty Cybertruck today and it’s awesome

Several acceleration tests were recently spotted with the Cybertruck on the test track at the Tesla factory in Fremont, California, and perhaps the development team wanted to test the first prototype of the model in question.
What we know about Cybertruck
At this point, it’s impossible to put Elon Musk’s comments on Cybertruck Performance into numbers. We can only use what was published on the official Tesla website for the “regular” model, which reports range up to 800 kmacceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a towing capacity of 6.3 tons.
At this stage, it is possible that the Performance variant will further improve some of these values, particularly in the 0-100km/h exercise. The Tesla Cybertruck is expected to begin production later this year at the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, with deliveries expected early next year.
