A fog is formed when moisture in the air condenses on a cooler surface. This process is mainly conditioned the temperature difference between the air inside your car and the air outside. Too persistent fogging can create a layer over the entire surface of your windshield disrupt or even prevent visibility forward. Do not get behind the wheel until visibility is good.
