A controversial measure

But there is no doubt that the government will make the slightest gesture when we know that one of the solutions will be to cut taxes. By the way, taxes are currently presented 60% of the price of a liter of fuel. Instead, the state decided to introduce a law that allows distributors to sell their fuel at a loss. Which is usually prohibited since 1963. But they obviously unanimously and categorically refuse, arguing that it is financially unjustified. Also, it won’t save much for customers.

Possible obligation

But then is it possible that the government will force gas stations lower prices, up to unprofitable sales? In theory, no, since companies are free to set whatever prices they want.
