Fuel is getting more expensive, that’s a fact. And this is even if the price of a barrel is not as high as at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, when it did not exceed the mark of 100 euros. But then what is the cause of this outbreak, which makes life very difficult for motorists? And, surprisingly, taxation, which is of great importance in the balance sheet. In fact, taxes are currently presented not less than 60% of the price of a liter. And the government does not want to do anything about it, even on the contrary. Instead, he prefers to blame the gasoline and diesel distributors for this increase.
Due to the 30-cent discount on the price of fuel, there was a shortage of supplies at many gas stations. https://t.co/SzgziQKxfm

Sales at a loss
In particular, the state asked the brands to reduce their margin, although the latter is actually only two to three cents. But he wants to go even further. For this, he simply wants distributors to sell their fuel at a loss. Which is usually strictly prohibited. And what do the main stakeholders think about it? Well, strangely enough, they absolutely refuse to comply with the demands of the authorities for one simple reason. the possibility of selling at a loss will not be traced because it is not economically unsustainable“.
Danger for small stations
This measure was particularly disturbing small independent gas stationss that could not survive by selling fuel without making a single cent. But this law will not be enforced while we await the government’s response to this unanimous vote of no confidence. The latter, however, provided for financial compensation for small stations, which were therefore to be useless. In any case, they would be of little use if this measure were implemented.
