Volkswagen ID.7: here are the prices for France! News from Auto Plus in your smartphone News from Auto Plus in your mailbox

If some manufacturers are still a bit behind when it comes to electrics, we can’t say that’s the case for Volkswagen. And it is not for nothing that the German brand already has a full range with ID.3, ID.4, ID.5 and other identifiers. Buzz, among others. But the firm apparently wants to go even further, while the European Union will in any case ban the sale of thermal cars from 2035. Therefore, she will be forced to adapt. That’s why the company plans to release several models, including the upcoming ID.2 and the excellent ID.7. A sedan that should eventually replace the recently updated Passat.

Salty prices

A few weeks ago, the manufacturer opened the curtain on the price range for Germany, which generally remains quite close to what is done in France. But now Volkswagen is formalizing prices for our market. And the least we can say is that they are very salty! Indeed, the electric sedan starts at 62,650 euros the entry-level Pro Style version. At this price, customers will benefit from, among other things, an augmented reality projection display, a 360-degree camera and even semi-autonomous driving. A nice gift for a great price.

More expensive than the competitor

The Pro Style Exclusive version is launched from 67,990 euros and includes Park Assist and IQ headlights. Light Matrix, among others. But that’s not all, because other even more high-end versions should also see the light a little later, with a larger battery. One way or another, the sedan is significantly more expensive than its competitor, the Tesla Model 3, which starts at €42,990 in the Propulsion version. For its part, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 starts at 52,400 euros.
