One thing is certain: all is well in the world of luxury and excess. Just look at the latest unique creations from Rolls-Royce or Bentley to understand this. It is the English brand that now offers its customers a slightly unusual option. The audio system is currently priced at £25,000 from the manufacturer, or almost €30,000 at the current exchange rate! That’s more than some cars, even electric ones!
20 3D printed speakers and 10,000 hours of development
baptized Hire for Mulliner, this sound system is the result of a 15-year collaboration between the car manufacturer and the Naim brand. Suffice it to say, they know what it’s like in terms of sound. It also took at least 10,000 hours of work to develop this system! It consists of no less than 20 3D printed speakers. Among them are 6 high-frequency speakers, 9 speakers for medium frequencies, 2 low-frequency speakers, 2 units for the lowest frequencies and a subwoofer.
Exclusively reserved for Bentley Batur
This €30,000 system can only be installed on board the ultra-exclusive Batur. In other words, only 18 small (and very, very rich) lucky people will be able to enjoy his lens. Installed such equipment in such a car, why not… Although to choose, we prefer to enjoy the symphony of the W12 English coupe! I have to say it Batur will be the last Bentley to use the brand’s legendary W12. The engine, which the manufacturer also reworked one last time for the occasion.
Which symphony do you prefer?
Bentley’s beloved legendary 6-liter W12 hides under the hood of the Batur. Here it was developed to 750 hp. and 1000 Nm of torque! And to make the most of it, the brand specially designed a custom-made titanium exhaust, also partially 3D printed. We are the symphony we wish we could have in our ears. This mechanic is again reserved exclusively for Batur. This also makes the model the most powerful Bentley ever! And with the price set at €1.95 million a piece, the Batur is also one of the most expensive models ever introduced by the English manufacturer… But, no doubt you can imagine, this price didn’t scare away buyers, as 18 baturs had already been sold.
