First introduced alongside the Alaska, Pear and Ronin, the Force E package for the Fisker Ocean is revealed in more detail. This set of equipment is designed to be used off the beaten track in particular, can be installed as soon as the car is configured online or ordered after receiving a copy. In the latter case, it will then be installed on an already existing ocean.
Improved equipment for greater off-road capabilities
This popular Force E package includes impressive 33-inch all-terrain tires mounted on new 20-inch rims. It is also accompanied new shock absorbers that increase the ground clearance of the American SUV, as well as protective underbody plates to protect it in all circumstances. In addition, it will be possible to choose a specific roof rack. Unfortunately, this special adventure pack will not be available on all Fisker Ocean…
Not for everyone
The Extreme E gear set will initially only be available on the One and Extreme variants. The Ultra version will also be able to take advantage of this, but later. It must be said that these 3 versions are the only ones that have two engines and therefore 4-wheel drive. The Extreme variant demonstrates at least 564 hp. and 737 Nm, as well as acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Its two units are powered by an impressive 113 kWh battery, 106.5 of which can be used to provide a WLTP range of 707 km! The One version has the same specifications and the same starting price of €69,950 as the variant called Extreme.
Only for 4WD variants
After the high-powered and ultra-rugged versions of the American SUV have taken advantage of this Force E package, it’s the Ultra variant’s turn. Also equipped with two engines to take advantage of four-wheel drive, this version is slightly less powerful and durable. It has 540 hp. and a range of 610 km, despite having the same 113 kWh battery. The version that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and now costs at least 57,500 euros. Unfortunately, it appears that Fisker has no intention of developing this Force E package for the entry-level Sport. sending its 275 hp. to the front wheels to travel up to 440 km on a single charge. A variant from 41,900 euros is displayed.
Software update for the first quarter of 2024
Along with all the tangible hardware improvements, this Force E Pack also comes with software updates. This needs to be done remotely and add some off-road mode to the system. Designed for vehicles equipped with the Force E package, it will allow vehicles to fully utilize the latter’s potential. This Force E package should also be available from the first quarter of 2024, at least in the United States.
