You probably remember the Battista, Pininfarina’s first electric supercar. A spectacular model who just gave birth to a “little sister”. Here is the B95, a model that has almost the same specs as the Battista, but without a roof and with a removable windshield.
The B95 unveiled at Monterey Car Week is the first electric ‘super barchetta’ and will be produced in just ten examples for a modest price 4.5 million euros, twice as much as the Battista. As a reminder, the production of this model was limited to 150 copies (50 for Europe, 50 for North America and the Middle East, 50 for Asian markets).
The most expensive and rare Pininfarina
The Pininfarina B95 is equipped with an electric windshield adjustment that optimizes air flow and improves passenger comfort. Body-colored helmets come with the car if you prefer to put the windshield down and get the real speedster feel.
As for the colors, the example on display at Pebble Beach features ‘Bronzo Superga’ and ‘Giallo Arneis’ liveries, with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels painted black that reveal bright yellow carbon-ceramic brakes. calipers
The interior of the B95 resembles that of the Battista, combining two screens on either side of the steering wheel with a small screen in the center that acts as a dashboard. Given the limited number of B95s produced, the customization possibilities are endless, and no ten models assembled will be identical.
1900 hp and a range of 500 km
Beneath that pretty dress, the B95 shares many components with the Battista, including a battery that has a capacity of 120 kWh, roughly double that of the Tesla Model 3 Propulsion. It has four electric motors, one for each wheel, in total power 1900 hp and 2360 Nm, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes less than two seconds. The maximum speed is approx 350 km/h.
The brand didn’t give the car’s range, but like the Battista, should be about 500 km. As for recharging, the B95 accepts up to 270kW of DC, allowing it to go from 20 to 80% in 25 minutes.
