In theory, driving would be available to almost anyone, provided one is physically fit. You just need to pass the driver’s license and, above all, get it, so that you can then get behind the wheel completely independently. And you just have to be careful to keep it drive carefully and, obviously, respecting the Traffic Rules. This is for theory. But in practice, we quickly understand that not everyone knows how to drive a car and that we are not really all equal in this situation. And the story we are telling you confirms this once again.

Dangerous behavior
It takes place on June 2 near Yvre-l’Evec on the Sarthe. On this day, the gendarmes arrange speed control, as they often do on the roads, especially in the summer. Suddenly they notice a car speeding by. 153 km/h instead of 90 km/h. But instead of stopping, the 26-year-old driver fled and a police chase ensued. The latter manages to catch up with the fugitive, and here the soldiers are not surprised, because the driver actually combines the offenses, and his children, 3 and 7 years old, are on board.
A very severe punishment
Indeed, in addition to speed, his blood alcohol level was found to be 1.56 grams per liter of blood. But that’s not all, because this repeat offender no longer has a driver’s license and was driving without insurance or a gray card. He was tried on July 21 and received s six months of imprisonment and four months of probation. He is also required to re-obtain his driver’s license while detained. The decision was appealed by his lawyer, who explained that the latter was afraid of prison.
