A few years ago, electric cars were a rarity in the automotive world, and few manufacturers offered them in their range. In fact, we could almost count the zero-emission models available on our fingers. But since then, everything has changed dramatically, and the authorities are doing everything to increase sales. And in any case, from 2035, thermal cars will be banned everywhere in Europe. But do Europeans really love these fancy cars? Well, everything suggests that it is, according to latest data published by ACEAassociation of European manufacturers.
There is one exception to the end of sales of diesel cars in 2035, voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are not many of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice will have to be ironed pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

The rise of electricity
Indeed, when we look at the graph detailing the market share of each type of motor, we realize that the electric motor is growing. And for good reason, 15.1% of sold cars there were models with zero emissions on the Old Continent in June. A big step forward, although their share was slightly more than 10% compared to the same period last year. But that’s not all. Indeed, only 13.4% of diesel car sales were recorded. Thus, for the first time, electricity surpasses this engine in the European market. By the way, this has been happening in France for several months.
And gasoline?
However, if electric cars are making a real leap forward, gasoline cars are still enjoying the greatest success among motorists. Indeed, this engine accounts for no less than 36.3% of sales simple hybrid with 24.3%. Electric ones take 3rd place, which is obviously more than worthy. Plug-in hybrids, on the other hand, have little appeal, with a market share of just 7.9%. This figure even decreased compared to last year – 8.2%.
