Nissan wants to target small and medium-sized businesses, fleet companies and municipalities by rounding out its light commercial vehicle range in Europe with the introduction of Nissan Townstar Van L2its version of the extended wheelbase Renault Kangoo.

“Building on the success of the Nissan Townstar Van, we decided to innovate and explore to go even further. With a significantly higher cargo capacity, excellent payload, impressive towing capacity and increased length, the Townstar L2 has most of the characteristics of a mid-size car. small size but for a small price! Nissan Townstar L2: improved cargo capacity

Nissan Townstar Van L2 boasts increased length 4.91 meters, bringing it closer to the size of a mid-size van. This lengthening of the wheelbase made it possible to install side doors 831 mm widerallowing the customer to load a Euro pallet while offering greater loading versatility.

Improved cargo capacity: displayed from 4.3 m³ to 4.9 m³ (with a modular partition), which is a significant advantage compared to the basic Townstar, which offers from 3.3 m³ to 3.9 m³ of cargo volume. In practice, this makes it possible to transport the equivalent of the capacity of two more euro pallets. This new version of the L2 has a load capacity of 800kg, features a revised rear suspension and retains its 1500kg towing capacity.

In its 100% electric version, the Townstar L2 is equipped with a battery 45 kW/h, compatible with AC (11 to 22 kW) and DC charging. Its 100% electric motorization has power 122 horsepower and 245 Nm of torqueand allows its users to comply with any local laws regarding pollutant emissions in cities.

Nissan Townstar L2: up to 275 km of autonomy

Nissan Townstar L2 boasts a full combined range up to 275 km, and allows you to carry out your activities without stopping to recharge. In the urban cycle, its autonomy can even reach up to 389 kilometersa real asset for the needs of SMEs in cities.

The Townstar Van L2 is also equipped with the latest active and passive safety technologies, such as blind spot warning, the Nissan ProPILOT system and an intelligent panoramic monitor.

The Nissan Townstar L2 is offered with a Warranty 5 years or 160,000 km, and its battery has an 8-year warranty. Nissan continues its Ambition 2030 roadmap: With around 50% of the small van segment expected to be 100% electric by the end of the decade, the Nissan Townstar EV Van L2 will be able to meet the needs of this ever-growing segment.
