The new Renault 5, based on the 100% electric CMF-B EV platform, is currently being developed at the Renault Group Technocentre Prototype Production Center, located in the Guyancourt region of Paris, in Yvelines (78).

Although there is little information at the moment, the design of the future Renault 5 will be very close to the Renault 5 Prototype concept presented in 2021. According to the latest rumors, its electric motor will have a power of 120 to 150 horses and more than 200 horses for the sports version of the Alpine, which should land in 2025.

The model will have two-way V2G (Vehicle-To-Grid) charging technology, which will allow it, among other things, to supply energy to the home network, resell electricity on the energy market, or even power electrical appliances on the move, such as an electric barbecue or a vacuum cleaner, thanks to the 220 mobile socket IN.
