Today, electric cars are becoming more and more popular among motorists. And it is not for nothing that their market share continues to grow over time, currently exceeding 13% in France. A number that has been growing steadily for several years. There are many reasons for this trend, starting, of course, with the increase in supply. Now almost all manufacturers have at least one electric car in their range. So it’s hard not to find happiness when all segments are catered for, from city cars to supercars SUVs and station wagons.
The eastern district of Saint-Rambert on the street@A7Traffic from July 18 will offer 2 electric charging stations for refrigerators. It is an economical, ecological and quiet alternative to noisy and polluting diesel generators. https://t.co/YF2YFVSF5Q

Tesla is in the lead
But which brand is really the best in this field? This is the question that ICCT (International Council for Clean Transport) wanted to answer. The World Organization for Environmental Transport has just compiled a rating of the best manufacturers of electric vehicles. And it is not surprising that Tesla comes out on top. Then the American company got ahead of itself BYD, which also remains number 2 in the world in terms of sales. The Chinese company is followed by BMW and Volkswagen by a large margin. Brands that are also popular with customers, especially in recent months.
A few are missing
We also find brands such as Stellantis and Renault groups, as well as Mercedes, General Motors and Saic. On the other hand, we notice some absentees such as Volvo and Audi. And even if the latter also offer electric cars in their catalog. We do not know what explains why these marks are not visible. Is this a simple oversight? This actually seems unlikely. Suzuki is in last place, behind Mazda and Tata, while all three are currently far behind.
