Key models for Audi
Audi presents today updated versions of their A6 and A7 for sure. Since both were released in 2018, this mid-career facelift came at just the right time. Because these two models won’t last forever! From 2024 the current A6 (petrol, diesel and hybrid) will be supported by a new 100% electric model: the A6 e-tron. The future of the A7 is more uncertain. These two sedans perform in the big league: road cars (segment E). The A6 is Audi’s best-selling and historic model: it replaced the Audi 100 in 1994 and has been ever since decreased in four additional generations. The latest A7, which is a coupe version of the A6, was launched for its first generation in 2010. These small mid-career updates were necessary. They have to fight with formidable competitors: Mercedes E-Class and CLS, BMW 5 series and 8 series.
