Today, electric cars are becoming more and more successful as sales continue to grow. And it is not for nothing that the market share is constantly increasing, even exceeding registration of models with a diesel engine. An increase in power, which is not surprising, since demand is increasing, as well as supply, with many new models on the market. However, some motorists are still bothered by some points, including autonomy. According to a large part of them, it will not be enough to convince them to buy such a product.
The eastern district of Saint-Rambert on the street@A7Traffic from July 18 will offer 2 electric charging stations for refrigerators. It is an economical, ecological and quiet alternative to noisy and polluting diesel generators. https://t.co/YF2YFVSF5Q

Shorter distances
But aren’t those who own an electric car of the same opinion? In any case, this is a recent study conducted by a specialized firm iSeeCars between January and May 2023. It aims to understand the use of zero-emission vehicles by analyzing several data points, including their average mileage. And this one remains quite low. Indeed, according to this large survey, electric cars are driven far less than internal combustion cars. And the difference is still quite significant as the difference is about 29%.
With one exception
On average, a three-year-old electric car traveled 14,580 km per year, compared to 20,500 km for a thermal car. A big difference, which can be explained by the fact that the zero-emission car is mainly used as a second household vehicle and is therefore used less. And this is primarily because drivers are afraid to go out of range. There is one more exception, which is none other than Tesla. Model X travels on average 16,700 kilometers per yearwhich allows you to approach the use of a heat engine.
