The Porsche 911 GT3 is already an exceptional car with fantastic performance. It is one of the few sports cars capable of driving around the famous Nürburgring in less than seven minutes.

The only way to get the GT3 up to speed is obviously to go for the GT3 RS, but order forms are (already) hard to come by right now. Another solution, it’s also to go to Manthey-Racing Performance and install a custom kit like the one Porsche unveiled today.

High price but guaranteed guaranteed

This kit has been specially developed for the 911 GT3 to make it livelier and faster on the track without compromising its versatility during “Daily Use”.

The price is obviously in line with that of the GT3 (from €196,554 in France) and the Manthey-Racing kit is available for around that price. 52,000 euros with installation at a Porsche center certified by Manthey, everything without affecting the vehicle’s factory warranty.

The best aerodynamics

Several aerodynamic improvements have been made, starting with a wider spoiler and mini-wings on the front fascia, which, combined with other changes underneath, create more downforce on the front wheels. At the rear, there is a larger spoiler with a new slope. We also note the presence of aerodynamic rims for the rear wheels and a new diffuser with enlarged ribs made of reinforced carbon fiber.

To make the most of the aerodynamic improvements, Manthey and Porsche worked together to create a suspension system to make it all stiffer. Upgraded brake pads are available, but are an inexpensive option. The wheels, meanwhile, require €14,000 more to benefit from this.

Porsche says the Manthey Performance Kit saves money 4.1 seconds on a full lap of the Nürburgring compared to a more “classic” model. In case you’re wondering, that gives a time of 6:55.737, about six seconds faster than the new GT3 RS.
