Lucid, founded in 2007, is a relatively young manufacturer specializing in electric vehicles: it is one of Tesla’s most serious competitors. The American company published sales figures and financial results for the 1st quarter of 2023, p income increased dramatically.

“We are on track to produce more than 10,000 vehicles in 2023, with ongoing company-wide initiatives that will allow Lucid to increase production as market conditions permit.”said Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid Motors: “We continue to build our brand awareness and I am proud to say that Lucid Air has recently received a number of prestigious industry awards”.

Lucid: revenue of $149.4 million

Bright registered income 149.4 million dollars (ie the equivalent of approximately €138 million) in the first quarter of 2023, which is 159% growth compared to the same period last year.

The automaker ended the quarter with just over $3.4 billion in cash, or about $4.1 billion in total liquidity, which should fund the company through at least the second quarter of 2024.

Lucid is planning production more than 10,000 cars in 2023 : So far in 2023, the Arizona plant has produced 2,314 vehicles and delivered 1,406 vehicles to customers during the same period.

Lucid Gravity: A new electric SUV is coming soon

In addition to the Lucid Air, the prestigious award-winning electric luxury sedan World Luxury Car Award 2023the American firm is preparing to release a new model in 2024: an electric SUV called Conscious attractionand has seven seats.

Lucid Air has redefined the luxury sedan category and we believe that continued advancements in our in-house technology position our Gravity SUV in the SUV category as well – revolutionary range, driving experience, cargo speed, spacious interior and an unmatched combination of luxury and performance.”says Peter Rawlinson.

To support its international expansion, Lucid recently inaugurated its second European dealership, located in Geneva, Switzerland, following its first opening in Munich, Germany. The manufacturer also plans to open its facilities in Spain, Great Britain, Austria, Belgium and Monaco.
