In the purest traditions of the DB range
New Aston Martin DB12 “will define the next generation of luxury sports cars”. According to the brand, the DB12 will be characterized “Stunning performance, best-in-class driving dynamics and extensive integration of new technologies and iconic DB styling”.
These statements are pretty “generic” to be honest, but they give an idea of the importance Aston Martin places on its new GT, which should still be available in coupe and convertible versions.
We’ll have to wait a few more days to find out what the new DB12 will look like, but the latest photos released already give some serious clues about the car’s silhouette. The DB12 will generally retain the typical styling of the brand’s models, with a long bonnet, sensual lines and a very muscular rear end with rather slim headlights.
Absence of electrification according to the program
Inside, we expect a completely new infotainment system, which may be from Mercedes, but of a new generation, even if we do not find the basis of the new MBUX system, a system exclusively for the star firm.
Under the hood, no wonder we have to find the famous 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from Mercedes-AMGwith more than 510 hp under the hood V12 won’t miss a calland a car with such motorization must develop more than 640 hp.
