Modernization of electricity: relaxed rules
From January 1, 2023, p detention until the conversion of the car has been repealed: from now on, the applicant must no longer own the vehicle they wish to convert for at least one year to benefit from the powertrain upgrade bonus. By removing this restriction, it will facilitate the process for individuals and professionals and accelerate the development of the market.
Other measures in this direction will also be taken by the Government, the contours of which have not yet been specified: the legislation will indeed be relaxed with greater freedom regarding administrative procedures and technical limitations. In the near future, a public discussion will be started on this matter.
From 1 January 2023, the purchase allowance was also increased: from now on, to benefit from conversion bonusit will be necessary to scrap a diesel car registered before January 1, 2011, or a gasoline car registered before January 1, 2006. The size of the conversion bonus can reach up to 6000 eurossubject to income conditions: in fact, this public assistance is intended for the most modest households.
Modernization of electricity: investment support
The government will also provide a investment support for the development of the electrical equipment modernization sector: in this context, the budget is 20 million euros was dedicated to the project competition, which will last until May 15, 2023.
