The sunny days are finally back, and with them, the car events. In particular, yesterday was National Retro Car Day, and the Lynas-Montlery Speedway is gearing up to host the God Save the Car and Jap’n’Car Festival over the next few weeks. Meetings not to be missed if you are a car enthusiast. If you’re particularly fond of oldies, there’s one event that should interest you. This is the Traversée de Paris, which takes place twice a year, both in winter and in summer. After a very successful January edition, this issue will make a big comeback.

An event that cannot be missed
So put the date in your diary next July 30, the date when this new summer Traversée de Paris will take place. As every year, the start will be given on the southern site of the Château de Vincennes at 8 am. The route won’t be announced until the morning, but we already know that this year’s theme will be the squares of Paris. About twenty will cross 700 cars expected that day. Only vehicles over 30 years old will be eligible for this event organized by the Vincennes en Anciennes association. But it will be possible to participate without a car.
Nice party
Indeed, you can also board a vintage bus to follow the motorcade for around ten euros. Like the participants, you will complete the course on Terrace of the Medon Observatory, where all cars will meet. A large picnic is provided afterwards, and a snack bar will also be available for those who didn’t plan on a sandwich. As every year, UNIVEM will also be there with its exceptional military equipment.
