To attract as many customers as possible, the manufacturer has several solutions: offer reliable, beautiful or even inexpensive cars. But he can also bet on his image, for example, thanks to a well-thought-out marketing strategy and attention to the client. But it is still better to combine everything to increase your chances, even if it is clearly not easy. And this is not always enough, because each customer has a more emotional approach to this or that brand, because it was, for example, their parents’ car. However, some manufacturers do it very well.

Peugeot is in the lead

But then which brand has the best image with French customers? That’s what pollster YouGov wanted to know, having just published the results of its latest poll on the subject. It was conducted on approximately 900,000 people, on a selection of 33 brands representing the French automotive market. And according to the results, Peugeot makes the best and is said to be particularly popular with customers. The company takes first place in the rating, immediately ahead of Mercedes, Audi and Volkswagen. You need to go down 6th to find another French brand, namely Citroen.

Several criteria

Several elements are taken into account and must be evaluated by the respondents. Including ” impression, quality, value for money, reputation/employer brand, satisfaction and referral“. Then the score changes from -100 to +100. Peugeot gets a score of 29.2. In turn, Renault is in 8th place with 17 points. The brand is followed by Ferrari and Ford. Internationally, Toyota ranks first, ahead of Mercedes and BMW, which are also showing very good results.
