What lessons does CAP draw from vehicle maintenance?

L’Atelier des Chefs offers fast and specific training in 4 stages:

1. Understand how the vehicle works
Before you get your hands dirty, you should learn how a car works. What is a connecting rod? Camshaft? How does the engine work, injection, ignition?
2. Learn how to diagnose a vehicle
Before starting any maintenance work, it is important to carry out all preliminary checks and make a correct diagnosis: check the tightness of systems, suspensions, check for leaks or tires, etc.
3. Car maintenance
This is the essence of training, the purpose of which is to acquire all the technical means of maintenance and repair of a passenger car: charging the air conditioner, replacing the timing belt, spark plugs or even checking the compression in the cylinders.
4. Ensuring safety and environmental protection
Intervention in the vehicle cannot be improvised. Training emphasizes equipment and protective features, gestures and postures to do and not to do, work-related risks (thermal, electrical, hydrocarbon-related) and

What are the teaching methods?

CAP training in vehicle maintenance at L’Atelier des Chefs still requires an important prerequisite. Indeed, to train properly, a student must have a vehicle! Don’t worry, it can be picked up cheaply at a car junkyard. In general, from less than 500 euros you already have a nice playground to learn and practice all the mechanisms of the car! • a vehicle less than 20 years old
• gasoline engine

What is the price and duration of training?
