
The British luxury firm opens the curtain on Rolls-Royce Manchester Ghosta unique version of the Ghost inspired by the city of Manchester, where Rolls-Royce was born in 1904 after Charles Rolls and Henry Royce met at the Midland Hotel.

Rolls-Royce Manchester Ghost: unique style
If the exterior styling of the Rolls-Royce Manchester Ghost is quite restrained, with a classic silver-gray dress, some turquoise accents have come to decorate the whole, bringing a more dynamic touch: we find a contrasting color on the side window surrounds or on the rims, as well as the brake calipers.
Inside, the city of Manchester takes pride of place withManchester Beethe coat of arms of the city for more than 150 years: it can be found on turquoise patterns which adorn the seat backs with white and black upholstery, while the headrests get the brand’s logo in turquoise embroidery, accompanied by a matching trim.
At the back, the central part of the rear seat gets an inconspicuous one tone-on-tone embroiderywhich honors the names of Manchester’s most iconic places.
Rolls-Royce Manchester Ghost: custom interior
To complete this interior, signed by Bespoke, the brand’s cutting-edge personalization department, is a instrument panel decor custom-made, with no less than 10,000 laser-engraved dots representing a bird’s-eye view of the city of Manchester. A highlighted dot on the illuminated dashboard marks the location of the Midland Hotel, the birthplace of Rolls-Royce in the early 20th century.
The roof lining of this Rolls-Royce Manchester Ghost also features upholstery with a grille-inspired pattern graphenea light, strong, flexible material with unique properties, discovered by two professors from the University of Manchester in 2004.
Finally, passengers aboard the Manchester Ghost are welcomed illumination thresholdswhile the city’s abbreviated name ‘MCR’ is written in binary on the inside of the door in honor of the ‘Manchester Baby’, the world’s first electronic computer, which was successfully used at the University of Manchester in 1948, and which marked the history of computing.
