This has been going on for over a year now and unfortunately nothing is getting better. We are talking, obviously, about the increase in the price of fuel, which does not stop. From the beginning of war in Ukraine, in February 2022, gasoline and diesel will be sold at golden prices at service stations. Obviously, it is a very difficult situation for motorists, who sometimes have to sacrifice certain trips, especially for leisure. And the fuel allowance of 100 euros, which ended on March 31, will clearly not be enough for drivers, especially since it was not open to everyone.

Strong increase
Today, unleaded and diesel fuel are available on the usual terms, and sometimes even exceed the level of two euros per liter. It is about war, but not only. Because penal taxation is not in vain, and taxes make up at least 60% of the price of a liter. Therefore, some motorists turn to alternative fuels, such as LPG or E85. Indeed, the latter were always much cheaper at the gas station. If the prices rose a little, then they were stationary until then below 1 euro. But that was before. Because they are not immune to inflation either, on the contrary.
A real explosion
As the specialized website Carburants.org reports, you need to calculate on average at least 1,145 euros per liter of superethanol E85, an increase of 52.67% over the past six months. And it is not necessarily better for LPG. Indeed, the latter is exchanged for 1.021 euros per liter. This corresponds to an increase of 34.87% over the same period. At the same time, unleaded petrol 98 costs €2,011 per liter compared to €1,829 for diesel. And prices can still rise…
