If you didn’t know him Affinity RV is a Polish recreational vehicle manufacturer that already offers a converted van as a loss leader: the Affinity, based on the Fiat Ducato or Peugeot Boxer, with a body that puts it in the middle between a motorhome and a converted van. The model is also available in the “Duo” version with a layout optimized for traveling together.

The Affinity RV range has just expanded with the arrival of a new model called Kinship of M : This uses the same recipe as the “very short” Affinity, this time with a medium MAN TGEwhich is quite rare on the market and which in practice is a converted Volkswagen Crafter.

Affinity M: two versions for different purposes

The Affinity M is equipped with a 2.0-liter TDI engine 177 horsepower, which is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Like its Ducato/Boxer-based counterpart, it is offered with a version Affinity M Duo, which is 6.84 meters long, 2.19 meters wide and 2.90 meters high (internal height 1.95 meters). Version Kinship of Mwhich can accommodate three people, has a length of 6.12 meters, a width of 2.19 meters and a height of 2.50 meters (internal height of 1.92 meters).

Both models are distinguished by their unique position on the market: they are french bedwhich is located in the rear of the car, on the left side: onKinship of MHe measures 124 x 192 cmwhereas on the Affinity M Duo it is slightly wider, with dimensions 132 x 190 cm. The base of the bed is mounted on cylinders, which allows it to be lifted to access the storage areas located just below.

Nearby is a bathroom with a shower, a 19-liter chemical toilet and a sink. Everything is connected to tanks for 100 liters of clean water (200 liters on the Affinity M Duo) and 100 liters of waste water. The rear of the Affinity M has an externally accessible compartment, while the Affinity M Duo version only offers vertical storage as it takes up water space at the back.

Affinity M: a complete set of equipment

Forward, the salon takes advantage swivel front seatsand two different configurations are available: the Affinity M has a bench seat facing the road and this dinette can be transformed into an extra bed to accommodate a third person at night, while the Affinity M Duo stands out for its lack of seating.

On the side of the kitchen, there are cabinets, a countertop, a two-burner stove, a sink, and also Refrigerator 70 l. The set is completed with a Truma Combi 4E heater/boiler combination and an additional 120Ah lithium-ion (LiFePO4) battery.

Affinity has yet to announce pricing for its new Affinity M on the MAN TGE, but a long list of options allows you to personalize your model, including solar panels, roof air conditioning, shower grill, canopy, outdoor shower or even an audio system.
