
Following the January 2021 merger of the Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) and PSA brands to create Stellantis, Lancia, a premium brand with a rich past, seems to be overshadowed in business strategy. Relegated to the background in this new galaxy of brands. Broad profile and/or promising brands such as Fiat, Jeep, Peugeot, Citroën, Alfa Romeo and DS Automobiles were preferred. Lancia is preparing its big comeback

The first of them will be a whole new generation city car Ypsilonwhich is planned for 2024. The second model will be a B-segment crossover which should enter the market in 2026. This model may be based on the Alfa Romeo Tonale. The latest model announced by the brand is a new compact station wagon which should be available in 2028. It is even possible that the latter will revive the legendary Delta appellation. In anticipation of these novelties, Lancia was presented on November 28 the latter’s first glimpse of its future visual identity. She was passing by an elegant sculpture called Pu+Ra+Zerowhich adopted the style of Art the legendary 1973 Stratos. Lancia took the opportunity to present its new logo, which is a modernized version of the traditional shield.
The first concept car has been announced
