With the advent of electric vehicles, the issue of autonomy is becoming a real issue for frequent travelers and is one of the main concerns for users of recreational vehicles: motorhomes, campers and other caravans, who may soon be forced to go electric.

This is what the American specialist imagined Lantern L1, the first aerodynamic caravan designed for electric cars. In practice, it has its own electric motor and battery, which allows not to load the mechanics of the tow truck (either electric or thermal) and thus preserve its autonomy.

Founded in 2020 and based in Colorado, USA, Lighthouse has former employees of Tesla, Rivian, Proterra, Lucid and Zoox on its team, which allows them to use their experience in the development and design of electric vehicles to create an electric caravan that is unique in the market.

The Lightship L1 Caravan has been built with a truly efficient design that is advertised as such three times more aerodynamic than a traditional caravan. 8.5 meters long and 2 meters high, the L1 can expand once on stage to 3 meters high.
