
The Italian manufacturer of the Erwin Hymer group offers its range of streamlined motorhomes Laika Ecovyp many refinements for the 2023 season, which is based on the Fiat Ducato truck, equipped with a 2.2-liter MultiJet engine with a capacity of 140 horsepower.
Changes to this restyling above all in its appearance with a sporty style, distinguished by matte black silky graphics, a new front grille with a full “Laika” logo or even a chrome “Ecovip” inscription on the interior.
Laika Ecovip: novelties of restyling in 2023
On board Laika Ecovip 2023heat and sound insulation was reinforced with the addition of a soft microfiber lining on the ceiling. The on-board lighting system is multi-directional and has variable intensity, alternating between direct and indirect lighting to enhance the light atmosphere on board.
The back walls of the bedroom were covered with eco-leather, and maxi panoramic skylight 70×50 cm available as an option: a real plus for sleeping under the stars while enjoying the extra light on board during the day.
THE storage also updated: the upper cabinet doors have been fitted with adjustable hinges, as well as a pressure-opening system that conveniently replaces handles for a more streamlined style. Twin models also offer new extra-deep storage.
Laika Ecovip: many improvements
On the living room side, the surfaces of the table, kitchen and sink are now covered with a Fenix coating: scratch and abrasion resistant materialwhich improves on-board comfort while offering better strength and durability over time.
In the DS versions, the rectangular table in the living room is replaced by a round table on a telescopic stand, for greater comfort and ergonomics. Models equipped with a “face-to-face” seating area have an optional Isofix attachment, which allows you to install the car seat at the level of the dining area.
Low-profile Laika Ecovip motorhomes are available in eight layouts to meet any need. 2023 models are presented at the original price from 83,387 euros (for Ecovip L 2009 version).
