Launched in 2013 Rolls Royce Wraith is one of the most important models from the Goodwood firm: it marks a turning point in the brand’s sportiness, with a slim silhouette highlighted by the appearance of the “Black Badge” version, with an even more aggressive style.
Ten years later, before going electric, and with the coupe about to be phased out, Rolls-Royce wanted to pay tribute to the V12 engine with this special series. Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith Black Arrowreleased in a limited edition on only 12 copies. Future collector!
Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Arrow: sporty style
This Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow features bodywork marked with a gradient between ‘Celebration Silver’ gray at the front and ‘Black Diamond’ black at the rear. To emphasize its exclusivity, the black paint was given a coat of Crystal paint, followed by a gloss varnish: it was polished for more than 12 hours to get vitreous coating.
This is a unique picture is the result of 18 months of testing and surface development: this paint, called ‘Gradient Paint’, is one of the most technically challenging colors ever produced by Rolls-Royce.
The rather dark aspect of her dress contrasts with elements painted in bright yellow : they can be found in the inserts of the front bumper, the edges of the wheel covers or even in the V-shaped pattern behind the radiator grille covered in dark chrome. This bright yellow finish also underpins the Spirit of Ecstasy carbon fiber emblem, which is engraved with the name of this special edition, Black Arrow.
Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Arrow: exclusive interior
The doors of the Wraith Black Arrow are dressed in black wood with open pores, with an intricate design consisting of over 320 laser-etched parts. We also find this new panel on the part that separates the two rear seats. At the front, the instrument panel has a unique engraving that pays homage to the V12 engine, while the instrument panel has bright yellow accents that echo the clock placed on it.
Leather is present in abundance in the interior, with the armrests, the tunnel gearbox lining, the door inserts, the covering of the storage pockets or the lower panel of the dashboard, all finished in “Club” leather. We also find bright yellow skin on the steering wheel rim and front seats, while the rear seats are upholstered in black leather, contrasting with bright yellow accents.
Rolls-Royce hasn’t released a price for this very exclusive Wraith Black Arrow, but keep in mind that all 12 copies are already reserved regular customers of the brand from all over the world.
