Audi: 20 new models will appear by 2025! News from Auto Plus in your smartphone News from Auto Plus in your mailbox

If product news around Audi has been surprisingly quiet in recent months, that shouldn’t last. Indeed, during the press conference, among the abundance of financial information, some clues about the future of the manufacturer were skillfully hidden.

no secret From 2026, Audi no longer plans to produce new cars with an internal combustion engine. But in the meantime, for the next two years, the German brand is “about to launch the biggest product initiative” in its long history, said its boss Markus Duesmann.

Will there be a small electric Audi?

Markus Duesmann reinforced this by saying that Audi “will release about 20 new models” until 2025. According to the manager, more than half of the models will be electric.

As often, among these 20 models, these are not 20 real novelties, strictly speaking. There will be new versions with new engines of already existing products, as well as restyling of products we already know.

As part of this big push, Markus Dussmann used the conference to discuss one of these new models, an entry-level electric model that will sit below the Q4 e-tron.

We don’t have any details at the moment, but our British colleagues at Autocar believe it will be a compact hatchback model similar in size to the Audi A3.

Several high-end electric models will appear

The ring maker has also announced many new products alongside the ‘Sphere’ concept cars unveiled in recent months. They are announcing, among other things, the arrival of the Audi A6 e-tron in the next few months, as well as the upcoming electric A8.

This year, Audi will also introduce the new Q6 e-tron, a model that is technically closely related to the upcoming 100% electric Porsche Macan.
