We no longer stop Volkswagen, which the number of launches and new products has increased in recent years. Since 2015 and the failure caused Dieselgate scandal, as if the manufacturer gained new momentum. The industrial strategy was revised to avoid the completely warm image that the brand had until then. It certainly put an end to some interesting projects such as Phaeton of the second generation Example. But on the contrary, it pushed the brand to rethink. After changing its logo and graphic charter at the end of 2019, it launched that year in electrical adventure with identification label and its first ID3 model. Since then, the company has released several successful models such as SUVs ID4, ID5 and ID6as well as the 100% electric combi 2.0: ID Buzz.

New entry level treatment

This too SUVs, which are the basis of the group’s good performance, as there was no shortage of novelties here either. The entry-level T-Roc got a boost in 2018 T-Cross, then Taigo in 2020. Big Tiguan modernized in 2018, and the Chinese launches followed one after the other: Tharu, Tayron, Tiguan X, Terramont, Talagon, Tavendor… Of course, without forgetting the Tiguan, one of the manufacturer’s bestsellers!

But in recent months between production crisis and explosion of energy prices, most manufacturers raised prices. Some have even downsized some of the entry-level versions, like Renault Megane E-Tech EV40 Example. today, Volkswagen is going against the grain with new entry-level trims for the Polo, Golf, Taigo, T-Roc and Tiguan. A strategy that allows reduce the entrance ticket for these models.

Discounted entrance ticket

Now these five models offer the coverage that bears their name. It is automatically equipped with a very interesting standard equipment. This includes in particular LED spotlightsthere air conditioningAND fully digital instrument panelTHE speed controller and also various additional means of assistance to the driver. The new invoice is very profitable: almost 4620 euros less on T-Roc diesel! In more detail, here are the new prices and discounts applicable for each model:

  • Polo: 20,640 euros (-3,110 euros) on gasoline 1.0 MPi 80 horsepower
  • Golf: 32,870 euros (-3,615 euros) in diesel 2.0 TDi 115 hp
  • Taigo: €24,135 (-€1,615) on gasoline 1.0 MPi 95 horses
  • TRock: 26,600 euros (- 3,570 euros) on gasoline 1.0 TSI 110 hp
  • Tiguan: 35,900 euros (-4,000 euros) in the 1.5 TSi gasoline engine with a capacity of 130 horsepower

These new finishes are now available to order for the respective models.
