Travel by Dangel: high-friction differential
With the “Travel by Dangel” offer, the Alsatian company’s teams offer you the opportunity to transform your van or converted van to improve its grip characteristics on slippery ground, improve traction and allow you to go off the beaten track, through the installation of a high friction differential (DGL).
In particular, this offer includes the installation of a Quaife limited-slip front differential in place of the stock front differential, as well as special badging on the sides and rear of the car.
Quaife recognized as a standard in the world of rallying and the car as a whole. Your car’s grip, handling and braking will improve. As such, Dangel offers a real win in peace of mind and security.
Travel by Dangel: How does it work?
When one of the front wheels loses traction, the high-friction differential is activated transmits part of the engine torque to the other wheelallowing the vehicle to get out of the difficult situation in which it found itself.
The Travel by Dangel offer is available for commercial vans and converted vans based on Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer or Citroën Jumper less than three years old and less than 30,000 km mileage. Assembly takes place in approximately 5 hours at the Dangel production site located in Sentheim, near Mulhouse in Alsace. After installing the transformation, the customer is invited to test drive his car with a technician who will introduce him to the new equipment.
But be warned, there won’t be something for everyone: this offer is limited only 100 transformationshas price 1990 euros with tax.
