Last time a British startup Watt electric cars (Watt EV or WEVC) hit the headlines with the unveiling of a 100% electric sports coupe called the WEVC Coupe, which was styled like a Porsche 356.

This machine was created on the base Electric platform PACES (Passenger and Commercial Skateboard EV), which the firm touted as particularly modular and able to fit any type of electric vehicle, traction, power or four-wheel drive.

Watt EV eCV1: a modular electric SUV

Indeed, it is aluminum architecture with equal success can become the basis of a city car, a sedan, an SUV or a sports car and even an SUV. Here’s how WattEV eCV1prototype 100% electric SUVwhich should be produced from next year.

So far, the startup has only released a 3D rendering of the model: it has a chassis-cab shape that resembles the Tesla Semi, but is much smaller. There is a large glazed surface with a windshield that seems to extend to the side windows.

Watt EV eCV1: range of 460 km

Technically, the Watt EV eCV1 battery is integrated into the chassis and has a capacity 110 kW/hoffering theoretical autonomy 460 km. Its chassis, made of aluminum, allows it to withstand a weight of 1750 kg.

No further engine details were provided, but we’re already guessing that several configurations will be offered, with different power levels and two- or four-wheel drive versions.

More information on the Watt EV eCV1 should be revealed at a later date. Production is planned for a year 2024 yearin a factory capable of producing 5000 copies models every year.
