A new alternative

But this new engine with a soft hybridization should also replace the current 130bhp PureTech petrol engine, which will therefore be phased out in the coming months. This new unit is none other than a 1199cc three-cylinder engine, identical to the PureTech 130 we already know. But the novelty is the arrival of 48-volt microhybridization. Later, other models will be able to take advantage of this new alternative, but at the moment Peugeot has not yet provided details on this.
