German motorhome manufacturer Franciaa member of French group Pilote, offers a range of equipped minibuses and vans called the Yucon, based on the Renault Trafic, Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Sprinter.

This year, the assortment was replenished with a novelty Frankia Yucon 6.0 BD, a Sprinter-based model with a 114-horsepower 2.2-liter CDI turbodiesel. As an option, the engine can reach 190 horsepower and be associated with an automatic transmission 7G-Tronic, as well as all-wheel drive 4×4.

Frankia Yucon 6.0 BD: Built for outdoor enjoyment

At 5.93 meters in length, 2.02 meters in width and 2.83 meters in height, the Frankia Yucon 6.0 BD has a rather restrained and versatile appearance, complemented by an optional retractable roof. Aboard, the atmosphere is modern and refinedwith light materials and warm LED lighting.

There is a living room in the front that allows4 people will be comfortably accommodated, for travel and food. It consists of two swivel cab seats, a multi-seater seat facing the road, and sliding table the feature of which is the possibility of outdoor use by attaching to the kitchen unit “inside-outside”.

Located at the level of the side door, it has a pull-out worktop, storage space, sink, hob and Compressor refrigerator 84 l. Opposite, the bathroom has a shower, a compact toilet, a sink and a vanity. The set is complemented by tanks of 110 liters of clean water and 55 liters of waste water.

Frankia Yucon 6.0 BD: a very practical retractable roof

At the back there is a functional bedroom with lots of storage space as well transverse double bed 135 x 190 cm, equipped with a comfortable mattress. It can be raised to access the storage compartments located just below and be able to carry bicycles and other bulky items with a payload of 640kg for a total weight of 3.5 tonnes.

The retractable roof, which is offered as an option, is equipped with numerous openings and can accommodate two additional people overnight, thanks to bed 110×200 cm. On cold nights, you can rely on the Truma Combi 4 heating/water heater combination and its CP Plus control panel.

The Frankia Yucon 6.0 BD is sold at an entry-level price from 73,987 euros.
