How long will Ferrari’s growth stop? Every year, the manufacturer breaks record after record, especially in terms of deliveries, and the latest problems with the supply of raw materials do not seem to affect the Italian manufacturer.

Ferrari has just presented its results for 2022, and surprisingly, the manufacturer is breaking all its records again. So last year the Maranello company delivered 13,221 carswhich is 18.5% more than in 2021. In the previous year, Ferrari delivered 11,155 models worldwide.

Ferrari records at all levels

The year that just ended was also a record from a financial point of view. Net profit fell from 4.27 billion euros in 2021 to 5.09 billion euros, which is an increase of 19.3%. For its part, the net profit was 939 million euros in 2022compared to €833 million in 2021, an increase of 13%.

“2022 ended with exceptional financial results that met and exceeded our forecasts, setting new records at all levels, such as net profit of €939 million and industrial cash flow of €758 million. These numbers will be the basis for even greater success in 2023, thanks to the continued high demand for our products worldwide.”– commented Benedetto Vigna, boss of Ferrari.

“Despite the complexity of the world economy, we look to the future with confidence, we are inspired by the numerous signs and achievements of the developing business. We are constantly improving our products and processes, bringing us closer to our decarbonization goals. All this is possible thanks to the cooperation, desire for progress, constant learning, concentration and confidence that characterize our employees. »

China runs Ferrari

Ferrari’s main market remains EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) with 5,958 cars delivered (+8.5%), while in second place we find the American zone with 3,447 cars (+21.8%), followed by APAC countries (Asia-Pacific region) with 2,264 deliveries and growth of 17.1%.

The biggest growth was recorded in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, where growth was 72.6% and 1,552 Ferraris were delivered. And growth shouldn’t stop there, as sales should jump again with the arrival of the Purosangue SUV, even if Ferrari wishes to maintain exclusivity by controlling the production and sales of its model.

22% of Ferraris sold are hybrids

All-thermal Ferraris alone accounted for 78% of worldwide deliveries, while hybrid models accounted for 22% of the marketnotably thanks to the new 296 GTB and SF90 Stradale.

The Ferrari Portofino M and 812 Competizione also contributed to the increase in sales. Deliveries of the first Ferrari Daytona SP3 also began in late 2022, while deliveries of the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 ended earlier in the year. Deliveries of the first Purosangue V12s will begin this year, pending the presentation of the V6 hybrid model, which is also expected in 2023.
