A busy calendar for the Romanian manufacturer
The year 2022 was marked by a change in the visual identity of Dacia, especially with the new grille and new lettering available across the range. In 2023, the grand opening of the hybrid will take place. in runner for example, the cheapest family car on the market will benefit from a 140bhp 1.6 E-Tech from next February.

In 2024, Dacia will take a big piece and present an update Vacuum cleaner, its flagship car. Released in 2010, the inexpensive SUV exceeded 2 million units this year. In its third version, the Duster will be offered with a full hybrid engine for the first time. Finally, Springthe cheapest electric model on the market, will benefit from restyling and receive a new entry-level engine, ditching the 33 kW (45 hp) unit.
Two new models for 2025?
In 2025, the appearance of the Bigster will make Dacia headlines. A large family SUV with an even more sophisticated design will be a breakthrough for the Romanian brand, which wants to further establish itself and form its own identity. Dacia is considering moving upmarket a bit with this Bigster, allowing it to raise prices a bit in the process.
But, in parallel with the Bigster, Renault announced the release of two new models. One of them will be the B-SUV, which will be in direct competition with such models as Toyota Yaris Cross where Renault Captur E-Tech.
According to rumors, this model will be the successor of Logan in an upgraded version. It will be positioned between Dacia Sandero Stepway and Duster.
However, the second car is still well guarded. Information is spreading about the electric alternative based Sandero.
