Forget the i Vision Dee concept or the latest 3.0 CSL, here is the most extreme BMW! Finally, if we can still call this machine a BMW… Effectively, this atypical car, to put it mildly, began its life as Series 3 e36 of 1995. 325 to be exact. But the least we can say is that the German has been (very) heavily modified since then! Why don’t we take a little tour of the owner together?
An atypical look, to put it mildly…
Restored before it was scrapped, this 3 series was completely stripped for the first time to no longer have body panels. Its chassis was then reinforced with a substantial hoop, which now acts as an exoskeleton. After considering the exterior, its owner Karl Balzer focused on the interior, or at least what’s going on under the hood.
American heart with a capacity of 1200 hp!
We say under the hood, except there isn’t any more… If that was the case, he would have gone into hiding big biturbo V8 signed by General Motors! A mechanism that now develops an impressive 1200 hp! That horsepower is sent directly to the rear wheels via an American-made manual transmission and a rear differential straight from the older generation BMW M5. That’s why this car a real little Frankenstein half-German-half-American, but above all super-powerful and super-light! Suffice it to say, it should be damn fun to drive. as you can imagine by watching the video below:
