Suzuki eVX: 100% electric city SUV

Suzuki is a well-known brand for its SUVs, such as the S-Cross or Vitara, a true forerunner in the field since its introduction more than 30 years ago. And even if the information has not yet been officially confirmed by Suzuki, it seems that the Suzuki Vitara is about to be replaced by a 100% electric version.

At 4.3 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.6 meters high, the Suzuki eVX eVX is a 100% electric urban SUV concept that heralds the the first 100% electric model the world of the Japanese brand, which is the result of Suzuki’s SUV and 4×4 know-how, and which already promises “The real experience of driving a Suzuki”.

Suzuki eVX: striking style

The exterior of the Suzuki eVX displays striking and sculpted lines with a front end whose X-shaped light signature is reminiscent of the latest Citroën models. Its design has been developed to optimize its aerodynamic performance, with solid rims, camera mirrors and flush door handles. Suzuki, on the other hand, has not revealed any images of the interior.

According to the Japanese company, the Suzuki eVX concept has incorporated the innovations of the latest generations of 100% electric cars. The model is based on a a new platform dedicated to electric vehiclesand equipped with a all-wheel drive. Rumor has it that this platform was developed in collaboration with Toyota.

Suzuki eVX: range of 550 km

Under its hood is a 100% electric motor powered by a Battery 60 kWhwho should offer him a autonomy 550 km as per Indian MIDC homologation cycle. Suzuki does not specify the origin of this battery, but Indian specialist media indicate that it may be supplied by BYD, and that there will also be a scaled-down 48 kWh version.

The production version of the Suzuki eVX will be on the market until 2025. Its production will be carried out in India at the new Maruti Suzuki plant, which will ensure exports to the whole world, including Europe.
