Peugeot was busy for a while. After the 408, one of the stars of the Paris Motor Show, the lion brand is now working on the imminent launch of a new concept car called Inception. But the firm is not forgetting about its current range either, as it prepares a restyling of its excellent 508, as well as its 2008, launched in 2019. It has been three years as a small compact SUV, a competitor of the Renault Captur, on the market and it is time for it to be rejuvenated a little. However, it should be quite low-key, while the brand should make the biggest changes in the next generation.

Launch in 2025
Expected for 2025, it should also not evolve too radically so as not to destabilize the clientele and remain consistent with the rest of the range. Especially since sales are already going very well. There is no reason to change a very effective recipe. However, the design should be slightly updated, taking inspiration, in particular, from the new 408. The SUV should also have a new brand logo, also present on the Peugeot 308. There should be new wheels, as well as exclusive upholstery. in Peugeot i-Cockpit must also undergo many changes.
New engines
But that’s obviously not all. Because this new generation will also arrive with a slew of new features under the hood. We should always find thermal engines, with a 1.2-liter PureTech micro-hybrid producing 136 horsepower, linked to a dual-clutch box. Logically, diesel should say goodbye in the meantime, while electric motorization will obviously be renewed and then reduced in several powers. Then the autonomy can reach 500 kilometers, but at the moment the brand has not yet confirmed anything.
