Crazy Radar?

The action unfolds on departmental 137, which connects Tonnes-Charentes in Sainte, in the New Aquitaine region. For some time, there was a radar installed in this area, which is responsible for flashing drivers who drive too fast on this stretch of secondary road. If things were going well enough until then, some drivers had a nasty surprise in their mailbox. The latter really received a fine for an offense that they did not commit. When asked by France 3, the driver indeed claims that “ when I flashed, I stopped 90 km/hhence my misunderstanding“. Because the radar is actually located on a road limited to this speed.

But the story of this motorist is not the only one, because others have also been victims of this crazy radar. According to some reports, it will flash from a speed of 80 km/h, while the signs say 90 km/h. If some drivers, unfortunately, already paid the fine and lost a point, others decided to take part in the competition. A letter was sent to prefect, who has not yet responded. It remains to be seen whether this case will be solved quickly, and whether the motorists will win their case!
