In recent months, a real hunt for two-wheelers and especially scooters has unfolded, especially in Paris. Indeed, for the latter, the City Hall has set paid parking rates that are twice as low as for cars, depending on the area. But that’s not all, because the government has also officially established the establishment of mandatory technical control for motorcycles and scooters. Although its date has not yet been revealed, the review is likely to arrive next year. But that’s not all, because now another initiative has appeared, this time to fight against poorly parked two-wheelers.
[#Protéger] That night, following #Call17 our police arrested a person who just stole 💻 at 1 🚗 in the parking lot in the city center #Nantes.

New platform
And if it is not a custom, then it is not the government that is responsible for this. Indeed, it is Cityscoot rental companypresent in many major cities in France, which has just launched a brand new platform called “Rock your Scoot“. The name has the advantage of being quite self-explanatory. Because the principle is simple: report poorly parked scooters, especially on sidewalks. However, according to Amandine Plas, the company’s marketing director, the aim is not to condemn, as “a separate aim is to educate and draw users’ attention to respect for public space”. A company car can then be reported in the community app as badly parked, but scooters owned by individuals are also targeted.
Empowering users
Thus, the aim is to make the users of thermal and electric scooters responsible and to remove the feeling of impunity, especially with respect to motorists who have been checked from all sides. But the platform launched by Cityscoot also lets you report damaged two-wheelers so that the company can identify and repair them if they belong to it. The decision resembles the initiative in Marseille, where the pound for electric scooters. And here the goal is to put an end to many incivility from users.
Long before automatic parking, here is an absolutely revolutionary innovation 😮 https://t.co/3tcBFavYv0
