Fuel has been very expensive since the beginning of the year, which is not surprising. Indeed, at some service stations, a liter still sometimes exceeds the threshold of two euros. However, a slight lull was seen between September and November due to the government’s implementation of a 30 cent discount. A small increase, which greatly contributed to the decrease in the price of fuel. But this one has finally been bid on and has risen well since the end of the sale, which eventually fell to just 10 centimes from November 16th. Same thing with TotalEnergies and then inevitably raises prices again. Enough to encourage some to find workarounds to get fuel…
The French are punished by supply interruptions at service stations.
Thus, the government continues the discount of 30 centimes/l at gas stations until mid-November.@TotalEnergies also extends its discount of 20 centimes/l for the same period. pic.twitter.com/u7EdYWGliB

Several flights
Indeed, there has been a surge in fuel theft in recent months. Objective: to get gasoline and diesel in order not to pay for it, or to be able to resell it at a high price. Unfortunately, it is difficult for the gendarmes to monitor everything, and the owners of the trucks, which are often pumped, are good at guarding them. A few days ago, two companies became the object of theft. The first is a gas station located in Flauyage, in the north of the Gironde. This Friday, November 25, as well as on one of the previous nights, burglars committed thefts, who managed to steal at least 2,000 liters by emptying an auxiliary pump installed in a room they just managed to get into.
.
The issue is under consideration
But that’s not all, because on the night of November 24-25, another theft was also committed, this time at a construction company located in Berson, also in Gironde. This time 300 liters were stolen, as well as various tools. Now, the investigation is ongoing and was entrusted to the gendarmes of the Bleije company, and the thugs were not arrested. No other theft has yet been reported to the law enforcement agencies of the region. But the latter are still on alert to be able to detain the culprits.
