A few months ago, Ferrari finally opened the curtain on the long-awaited Purosangue. But the appearance of the latter was also feared by purists, although it is the first SUV of the Maranello brand, which is more used to sport, chained to the ground, and very high performance. But times are changing now and brands have to adapt too. Especially because, no matter what, relief models are attractive to customers, like the Lamborghini Urus, which accounts for almost 50% of the Italian brand’s sales. There is no doubt that Ferrari will lose their chance! This is how Purosangue was born, orders for which exploded in the first week, when the success was already undeniable. It’s pretty simple, all versions of the V12 would have been sold.

A new option
But it is possible that soon the assortment will be replenished with a completely new variation. So far, the brand has not confirmed anything as it remains very tight-lipped about its plans. But rumors are already calling for the arrival of a new engine on the Purosangue. Then it could be a V6 or a V8, as on the SF90 Stradale and other 488s, among others. But a V6 can’t be ruled out either, while the new 296 GTB features this engine linked to plug-in hybrid system. A trendy alternative to an SUV definitely cannot be ruled out, and in the future, the brand, in turn, plans to offer electric models. The first should also arrive during 2025.

Many teams
But at the moment it is difficult to say with certainty what engine will be hiding under the hood of the SUV, while the V12 is reserved for only a few customers chosen by the brand itself. Be that as it may, so you’ll have to be patient if you plan on ordering a copy of this Purosangue. Indeed, it is necessary to count more than two years of waiting, while the reservation book is already full. We remind you that this novelty in the range is presented from 390,000 euros in the version equipped with a V12 engine with a capacity of 725 horsepower.
