Laguna Seca is one of the most famous trails in the United States. Located in California, it is an arena of battles, one more impressive than the other, mainly due to its layout. In effect, the latter measures no less than 3.6 km, but above all it shows a very variable topography, as its total drop still reaches 55 m! The difference in height can be seen in his most famous curve: the corkscrew. And this is where our accident of the day happened…
Unbreakable bull!
An even more impressive crash because of its speed! I have to say it The car that fell apart is none other than the Lamborghini Huracan GT3. Like the production car, it is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10. But unlike other Huracans, here it develops “only” 620 horsepower. It’s fast, very fast! Fortunately, the Italian can also count on brakes that are even more impressive than the bull supercar coming out of the factories of Sant’ Agata Bolognese. At least when they work…
Technical problem?
The driver behind the wheel of the racing car at the time of the accident was indeed experiencing a technical problem. According to her, her brakes no longer worked! As a result, on the approach to the important descent of Corkscrew, it was impossible to reduce the speed in order to properly approach the turn. She still managed to avoid several competitors before literally taking off, skidding a few tens of meters and eventually crashing into a fence, through a wall of tires! Fortunately, all’s well that ends well, and she was able to get out of the car in one piece. It’s a wonder when you see the violence of the crash, which you can see below:
