These four soccer fans from Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom decided to take on an absolutely insane bet. This electric car trip will take them approx 8000 kilometersand cross no less than 19 countries.

MG4 Electric: a symbolic journey
According to four Welsh adventurers, Scott Young, Nick Smith, Hugh Talfrin Walters and Walter Pennell, the trip will be a great opportunity to support the Wales football team as they celebrate their first World Cup in 64 years, while raising public awareness of sustainability.
Indeed, these advocates are passionate about EVs and believe they play an important role in reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, reducing CO2 emissions and improving urban air quality.
All original MG4
The vehicle chosen for this Electric Car to Qatar trip is a MG4 Electric Long Range, which received the name “Morris”. This is one of the first examples delivered to the UK that is completely original, apart from the all-season tires that were fitted in preparation for this journey, which is expected to be through mountain passes and desert.
This model has a 204 horsepower electric motor and a Battery 64 kWh which allows you to offer up to Range of 450 km according to the WLTP cycle. It has a built-in 11kW three-phase charger and is compatible with ultra-fast charging up to 135kW, which recovers 80% of its capacity in just 35 minutes.
We recently worked with British silver medalist Bradley Sinden #MG4 EV on a trip to Scotland. Free charging stations and idyllic scenery – what a way to experience the MG4 EV!
