As we know, a battery, be it a smartphone, car or scooter, needs good maintenance to last as long as possible. Indeed, over time, it tends to deteriorate and lose effectiveness, which then harmsautonomy which risks melting like snow in the sun. Fortunately, there are some tips to keep it safe and, most importantly, to avoid mistakes. We invite you to familiarize yourself with some of them.
do not discharge the battery completely
Of course, this can happen from time to time. But if you can, avoid draining the battery on the scooter as it can damage it if you do it too often. It’s ideal to recharge as soon as it reaches 20 or 30% to conserve cells. The work is similar to the work of an electric car. And in any case, it will not let you run out of battery!

Avoid too low temperatures
Also, it is not recommended to expose your scooter to the elements too low temperatures. Indeed, they are bad for the battery and can drain it faster, forcing you to charge more often. Again, this is exactly the same principle as for an electric car, which also has an ideal operating temperature. For a scooter, it will turn about 15°. Also, avoid too much heat, which is not good for the battery at all.
.
Do not use chargers from unknown manufacturers
Whatever happens, always use your scooter’s original charger that usually comes with it. This way you will avoid fire hazard, and also damage the battery. Indeed, the characteristics can sometimes vary from one cable to another, and a system that does not perfectly match your vehicle risks premature battery damage. In any case, avoid chargers bought on Amazon or Aliexpress, which are not always of good quality, even the opposite.
