
Californian manufacturer Lucid has just introduced two new versions Bright airnamed ‘Pure’ and ‘Touring’, which will quickly complement the Lucid Air range below.
Indeed, Lucid Air Pure will presententry level offerwith prices starting at $87,400, equivalent to approx 84,100 euros. The most powerful version of the model line, called Sapphire, is under development and should be launched in the first half of 2023.
Lucid Air Pure: Entry level version
Electric sedan Lucid Air Pure will be available in two configurations: the first All-wheel drive version, with twin engines and all-wheel drive, will be available by December 2022 with 480 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Second Pure rear-wheel drive versionwith a powerplant and a single engine in the rear, will complete the lineup next year.
The Lucid Air Pure has a lighter battery that consists of 18 modules instead of 22, allowing it to offer a range of 660 km. The model is compatible with ultra-fast charging stations, which allows you to restore 320 km of autonomy in just 15 minutes.

Lucid Air Touring: mid-range model
The Lucid Air Touring it is a mid-range model with more power and more autonomy. It is equipped with four-wheel drive and two motors developing a total power of 620 horsepower, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
The maximum autonomy reaches 684 km thanks to a long autonomy battery of 18 modules. Its interior is finished with full-grain Nappa leather, as well as recycled textiles and synthetic and eco-friendly materials. The Air Touring is also compatible with ultra-fast charging stations, allowing it to recover 320 km of range in just 15 minutes.
Lucid Air: The Complete Range
The Lucid Air line also includes a version Grand Touring, which is equipped with two engines and four-wheel drive, offers 819 horsepower and 830 km of autonomy, to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. Version A grand tour increases its power to 1050 horsepower, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.6 seconds: here the autonomy is 718 km.
In 2023, the world will see an even more effective version: the Lucid Air Sapphire, presented during the last Monterey Car Week. It will be powered by three motors (one in the front, two in the back), providing all-wheel drive and a whopping power output of over 1,200 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.89 seconds.
