The environmental bonus, introduced a few years ago, aims to encourage motorists to choose an electric car. Principle? The government offers a nice discount that is currently fluctuating up to €7000, to purchase the so-called “pure” model. This discount also applies to hybrid models, even if it ends soon. But France is not the only country that chose this financial incentive. This also applies to Germany, England and even Sweden in particular. However, as sales of connected cars grow, various governments are starting to tighten the screws and cut back on aid. This applies especially to our neighbors, the Germans and the English, but not only.
There is one exception to the end of sales of diesel cars in 2035, voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are not many of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice will have to be ironed pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

Sudden end
In Sweden, too, the government decided to save money and close the floodgates. So much so that he simply decided put an end to the environmental bonus, for night. Until then, electric cars were entitled to 50,000 kroner in aid, while hybrid models could benefit from 10,000 kroner. But from November 9 – the end! The state argues this by the fact that today electric cars cost the same as thermal cars, and therefore the aid is no longer justified. But buyers who have not yet received their bonus can rest easy, it will be paid if they bought their car before November 9!
.
And in France?
Currently, the question is about withdraw the environmental bonus not yet relevant in France. However, this amount will actually decrease, as from 1 January it will drop from €7,000 to €5,000. In addition, the government is also considering reserving this benefit only for cars manufactured in the European Union. Dacia Spring, MG 4 and some Tesla models will no longer be eligible if this measure is implemented.
